I've just taken a gamble and bought R6k worth of Harmony Gold... About 5 mins ago... so I hope you're wrong Hamster :p Agreed that it's a bubble though. I just hope it doesn't burst before I've doubled my money!

Sooooo.....how's it going?

Pfffft, Monday morning jitters :p I've been known to move markets though... Always in the opposite direction :-/

I'm already down 8% for the day, if things don't change this week, I'm moving all my investments to normal bank account lol

I'm with you on that one man. Whatever confidence I have in this game is fueled by my cluelessness. If I don't start seeing some upward movement in my portfolio by Feb, I'm selling everything and buying 1oz Krugers. DSY is looking good today but COH is still taking major shots!!

Maybe I'm being too hasty, will probably wait till after the budget speech, hopefully things start improving afterwards.

Sibanye is souring while Capitec and Curro are still falling. Glad I pulled out of those.

Capitec is oversold. No way a company that grew by 25% yoy should be having a P/E ratio of 18.

No offence mate but if you don't have an exit plan you shouldn't be in the trade to begin with.

My exit plan amounts to: watch the stock daily and, if after 3 days the price has dropped consistently without an upwards correction, flog it.

Pretty reckless, I know, but it's my only risky position... The rest of my stuff is pretty solid, albeit struggling at present.

I'm beginning to wonder how much that beer is going to cost...eish blerrie China. Also the Iran sanctions being eased aren't helping a saturated oil market.

On the bright side today's big bash match was rather profitable :D

I want to but can't, oil is dropping like a brick. Need some trouble in the middle east to bring it back up.

Sasol is a good Rand exposure because if the Rand recovers then Sasol wil pick up, in other words if your portfolio is heavily offshore ( which it should be) the Sasol is a good "onsore" share to own.

It's a Quality company it won't close so buy it on special.
