They all over the place when it comes to "predictions"

I've gone "back in time" reading articles on their predictions and well, lets just say very few of them panned out.

That being said I didn't spend days on this, just a few hours, so I might be wrong :p

Contemplating what to "invest" in today, will probably just keep most of it in gold for now until the market opens.

Just keep an eye on it. At some stage things will normalise and then the gold sell off happens...

SGL is sitting at an all time hight. I will kick myself if I moved all my money into something that has hit its ceiling.

That's pretty much what I told myself last week when I bought into SGL and Harmony, been rewarding so far.

Peeps that bought in a month ago has been coining it the most though.

Hard to say when the bubble will burst, so long as oil suffers and the rand weakens it's a relatively safe bet imo.

Long term I'm looking at ARA, planning on growing my investment in them for at least the next 6 months.

Thinking of selling my Investec, Capitec & Disc shares and buy something else, i'm just bleeding there :(
Any ideas or caution... Long term, otherwise I should just keep them till things recover.

Just don't buy Curro, so glad I got rid of that before losing that much, they already 4.5% down for today alone and 23% over the last month.

I guess it finally dawned upon peeps that this shares is highly overweight?

plan of action this year is to possibly split spare cash to go to loans and investing. more baskets should be better i think

Hey guys.

For those that would like to speculate a bit. Here is a site where you can see what events there is for the day that could effect world markets and currency's'. For obvious reasons this will not tell you when JZ will open his mouth and ruin everything again.....

But Thor said Jannie Mouton doesn't make mistakes. Thor said buy buy buy when it was trading at 250p/e
T-they w-will build 800 schools in one year

Why you guys don't buy shares at low p/e multiplier and with proven dividends and take 5 mins to look at their financial statements is ineffable...

OR, we did buy at the low price, saw everything was going well, bought some more, had it rise to almost R60 and then saw it going down faster than the FlySAFair airplane.

Regardless, sold it (also got rid of Aspen) and back to only ETFs like I was before. The only direct shares I own are ARA and NEP.

Why has oil suddenly taken a bullish turn? Nothing on the supply/demand side seems to support it.
