Ok, so your argument is now that chimps should receive human status because the commit less crime against humans. Chimps are violent and kill each other a lot.

The reason chimps have committed less crimes against humans is a lack of opportunity because they are wild animals and aren't allowed to roam the streets like humans. This is besides the fact that chimps are incapable of understanding human morality. No sense of private property for instance. Given the opportunity chimps will just take what they want.

So really your opinion is just wrong and ill-considered.
