I take my hat off to the people who specialise in bird photography. I found it bloody difficult to keep those pesky buggers in the viewfinder and in focus.

This was my best effort.

I was going to last night but my thumb was getting tired from holding the button down for 2-4 minutes at a time I need to jury-rig a better trigger if I'm going to try it again tonight. Looking out the window I can already see that the red tide is even more dissipated today.

The bright yellow lights towards the right are Jeffery's Bay. The blue is some sort or bioluminescent plankton/algae or something that's currently in our waters.

As we took off from PE yesterday one could see the red tide for miles.. Wish I had my camera with me.
