I'm VAT registered so I do anyway but strange thing is the amount I paid in Berlin with VAT (iirc 19%) was the same as the B&H list price (ex tax) and I claimed the VAT back when I left the country so I saved a fortune.

It's hard to tell where the extra width comes in as my viewfinder is now also wider (100%) - I'll satisfy my curiosity with come comparative tests when I have a chance.

I'm not under any illusions that there aren't newer cameras with better high ISO capabilities but so far I'm impressed. There's a lot I have to learn about the camera.
