Lol. :D Yes, it came out better than the cat pics! ;)
Well its a nice shot all the same. :) I might have tried to get a little higher up on it or cropped out a bit of the foreground but thats just my personal taste.
Have you considered trying an HDR pano? Might not be as easy as it should be with the D40 but could be worth the effort.

I was going to mention (but forgot ), that pic would be an ideal candidate for running through MV's contrast mask plug-in.

Thanks! Taken note. A few were taken higher up, but this one's DOF was best. :)

No I haven't, and yes I'm scared to because it isn't easy on the D40, plus I don't have a tripod yet which I imagine is better suited for HDR. Would love to though, maybe when I get a new body. Or a tripod for some non-pano HDR. ;)

Thanks :p Would have been even nicer if I did an HDR but I left my mini tripod at home.

Sweet sunset panoramic!

Yeah those wheat pods did move a bit but there was still times and my camera has bracketing mode so getting 3 different exposure shots takes about 2 seconds (in JPEG mode).

Wish my D40 had bracketing.
