Strange first jobs of South Africa’s top tech CEOs

Uhm.. no, tell us your 1st permanent professional job (non-intern) ideally career orientated post graduating from varsity. I don't see the value of what their 1st job was when they were a scholar or undergrad.. the guys that quote this seem completely disingenuous, heck otherwise it feels like a lazy HR person who will tell and engineering grad to work as a store assistant because they have experience as it vs none as an engineer(this happens).

Last time i checked, a lot of them do not list these jobs as an entry on their LinkedIn profile which means there is no value in listing it is there?

PS. Is this a resurrected article? Pretty sure i recall everyone and their dog shooting down such an article for pretty much the above reasons.

Would have been nice to have at least a few CEO's from tech companies. The list is entirely of telecoms CEO's.

Would have been interesting to see the CEO's of SnapScan, Takealot, Gyft, Over, iKubu, WooThemes, etc

I enjoyed it due to the fact that it made me think about the jobs I had when I was 10, 12, 16 years old
