Started last night.

My ping just below 600 and working fine, the moment there is action I DC from WoW but my connection is fine. It started in Dalaran, I could not log in for the life of me. I removed all my addons and kept trying.... took me about 30 minutes to get in eventually. I typed /leave trade and this it was working alot better.

Then got into an instance, like clock work every time some action starts I get booted out of WoW  I removed everything I could think off but nothing seemed to have helped.

I'm not saying it's not my connection, but I have tried the VPN I have, and 2 different APN's. My connection stayed constant but I still got DC'd. On small mob pulls... all is perfect. The moment we start nuking a Boss or a big crowd DC !!!!

The log in goes quick and I'm in and then it runs fine again for a few minutes.

I have no idea what this could be. I need help :(

Welcome to my life.

It's a known problem that Blizzard is "addressing". Whenever i do certain Heroics or certain bosses in Naxx, I get the same issue. Disconnect and can't reconnect on the one character. Log in using a toon and everything's perfect.

there are about 30 pages of complaints on the blizz site about it.

It sucks, because I can top the DPS charts on say Patchwerk ... and the next boss fight like Grobbulus I DC after 5 seconds.

It's happened to me again when I dc'd in Naxx that blizzard got so confused, when I logged in again I was in a graveyard in Westfall. I think I should just start running Deadmines heroics.

Several of our guys have started experiencing this really badly since the patch. Can't stay online at all for bosses, regardless of how low their ping is.

That is my problem.

I'll admit last night was the first time I played my Lock since the patch..... It's very very depressing and annoying :(

Yeaup, was happening to a bunch of our guildies too last night in 25-man obsidian. Like you say, just when the action starts. Doesn't seem to matter whether on shapped or unshapped. Grrrr.

Naxx 25 on wednesday - i was on the undead side at heigan when the 1st 3 ghosts came to use, my wow froze and when that happens i normally dc after about 10 seconds, but nothing, so i waited, got up made some coffee, about 3 mins later, just as the boss came to our side of the room for the 1st time i just came back into the game - no dc nothing, just a ping of 50k and about a million msg's for scrolling combat text

Ran Nax on Wed night, as we get Noth down, everything freezes. Guild chat, Raid chat etc works 100%, but toons wouldnt move. Needless to say when 20 mins later we managed to log back on, boss was gone and loot was gone.

Since then it has been a battle to log onto wow, same story, disable addons, nothing, disable regitry hacks, nothing, connect via gamemax, nothing, re-enable registry hacks, nothing.

Eventually when I manage to log on, the chat is full of [name] connected, and then [name] disconnected. And that continues for the whole night where peeps are just unable to log on...

I got disconnects while I was in Stormwind on Wednesday evening. Only the 2 chars that was in SW got the problem. When I logged in, I would go up to the loading screen before being dc'ed. My chars that are in Exodar was fine, and I was fine while farming herbs in Darkshore and STV, but as soon as I entered SW, the dc's started again.

I logged in yesterday morning at about 6 and was able to get into the 2 chars. I moved them to different areas.

My problem might be different from yours though. Haven't run any raids or dungeons yet, so I can't say if it is the same. But it looks like it happens when a lot of actions take place in close vicinity, or when a lot of players are close together (and thus having a lot of actions).

This kept happenening to eu players after patch 1.9 which for anybody playing around that time would remember how this patch tore a lot of guilds apart because of nearly a month of dc'es regardless of latency speed, people couldn't raid and stopped playing.

We were mid way through Blackwing Lair content when this patch was applied. On many occasions players everywhere would get dc'ed in a dungeon, and log in to find the entire raid lying dead in Ungoro Crater. Very frustrating after spending a week gathering mats for flasks...

I used to get it in Shatt if it's very busy, but that was all my addon's fault.
When I go to Dalaran I switch them off and never had problems till yesterday.

But it went on beyond Dalaran. That is the part that is confusing me ...

Dono, I'll see if it's not something funny on my machine. Myabe just re-install windows. I'll see :p

Might have some thing to do with the DNS issues we've been having in the country these last few days?

Delete

WTF, Interface & Cache folders.

Don't bother.

I did all of that & even a wow repair.exe all to no avail.

If you DO decide to delete those folders, make sure you remember which addons you were using. It took me another day to sort them out too.
