If you stream netflix hulu and the like, Don't sign up with Smartvillage,

they have implemented a DNS Block, only allowing google, openDNS or their own servers. They site "network security"

so DNS redirect services like unlocator or unotelly no longer work

This is what happens when Multichoice Monopoly owns ISP's, just making sure they perpetuate their media monopoly in South Africa

Why on earth would I want to still pay for a 20meg fibre line if I am unable to stream

"Here, pay for a ferrrari, but you ONLY allowed to drive on the roads WE SAY YOU CAN"

Bit dramatic OP. I'm sure there was a thread on this yesterday where someone emailed them about unotelly and they said they'll support it.

Yeah, that doesn't help when SmartVillage has the monopoly on the infrastructure in my area

That Poster is with Smart Village as well. He requested to use UnoTelly unblocked and confirmed it was working.

Yep,, probably is a bit dramatic ... But I get testy when I don't get my daily fix of Hulu and on top of that they seemed to have completely blocked P2P

A bit off topics, but what does The Dark Knight need Netflix for?

Lol, Monochoice strikes again, isn't smart village ridiculously expensive anyway? Last I saw if you want to do anything other than browse they'd nail you with the OOB shark due to their low limits

Someone else posted the same thing, and said that they will be allowing Unotelly to go through?
