Using Ivermectin to treat Covid-19 can reduce severe disease – study

A new study found that using Ivermectin early to treat Covid-19 can reduce numbers progressing to severe disease and significantly impact the pandemic globally.

The results of the study, titled Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Infection, was published in the American Journal of Therapeutics.

The study assessed the efficacy of Ivermectin treatment in reducing mortality among people with, or at high risk of, Covid-19 infection.

Ivermectin is a medication used to treat many types of parasite infestations. It is not a drug for treating viruses, and taking large doses is dangerous and can cause serious harm.

It's not new, and it's not a study, but a meta-analysis of previous studies. Several threads have been started on this one publication, and they all turn into sh1tfests

Independent specialists have been speaking out on the efficacy of Ivermectin for more than a year. There are also multiple studies plus massive anecdotal evidence, plus hundreds of doctors using it for months for Covid. All of it together illustrates a huge benefit, especially for early treatment, but even in severe cases. Big Pharma shut its use down using its political and media power as their unproven gene therapy is only allowed under Emergency Use Authorisation. Because Ivermectin is actually a cure, as is hydroxychloroquine, plus the other well known supplements e.g. Vit C, Vit D, Magnesium, Zinc & Selenium, the EUA is invalidated, as there has to be NO ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT. It has been estimated by specialists that up to 85% of Covid deaths would have been avoided if the suppression of the truth had not occurred. Its nothing less than mass murder as it was not neglect but deliberate betrayal.

There are “gestalt” benefits to meta-analyses that cannot be accounted for by saying they contain previous studies. The data is reanalysed using tools specific for the task. I will mention a few points. Single CRT studies can be flawed and wrong, metas help to clear up these mixed signals. Metas, through synthesising data from studies with different designs, help to point in the right direction in terms of dosage etc. The meta-specific data tools I mentioned earlier include ways to ascertain the confidence of their findings, I cannot claim to understand these tools, so for me it comes down to do I trust the analyst. From what I’ve heard the analyst is one of the best. I also think it’s worth pointing out the obvious: all the studies in the meta are positive, so unless you’re alleging selection bias...

Watch from 18.23, the whole podcast is pretty good but it's the details pertaining to IVM that are particularly interesting...

If it is that good, summarise it. If it is that good why is it not written up?

If not, then okay then.
