Stutter and framerate issues on sport catch-up

Hi everyone,

I want to know if this is a related issue or just for me.

If I watch sport or any other DSTV channels, the quality is good and there is no frame rate issues.

If I watch any sports game on Catch-up there is an immediate impact in frame rate drops, especially visible when a cricketer scores a boundary and the camera quickly follows the ball, it stutters immensely.

What could be at fault here, anyone else have these issues?

It's because Multichoice's servers are up to ****.
They don't have enough bandwidth to cater for all the users that want to stream simultaneously.
There are a lot more people trying to stream sport at the same time than other shows and they probably use a lot less servers or bandwidth in peak times to deliver the sport while other shows are delivered from other servers.

Ive seen it also, on catch up, sport events normally stutter, low frame rate. Its not just you

I've seen the same on catch-up when watching soccer and tennis highlights. Very jerky ball movement.

Thank you, I was about to replace either my TV or my decoder.

DSTV should really die out. Terrible system.
