Subpoenas for ISP info issued in City of Joburg "hacking" case

Putting more feet in their mouth

Just admit you fek'd up and fixed the problem.

You have no ones sympathy, due to your ineptitude and ignorance.

What I dont understand is where is this case?
Its not like someone hacked the site and modified it to be insecure, it was insecure by design.
When that design fault was highlighted to them they did nothing about it, no malicious damage was done to the system so how do they label it hacking?

Meh, I can see these fools going through a whole court case wasting tax payers money, and when their case start imploding they will just withdraw charges.

^This. They'll be bringing a knife to a gun fight and they're not smart enough to run for cover whet it gets ugly... Pity about the money we'll waste first 'tho.

Are we supposed to read between the lines that they are targeting/victimising Gerd Naschenweng? The comments below the post seems to indicate such.

Very dof!

O lol this is a complete and utter embarrassment for SAPS and the NPA
Hopefully the ISP will show some balls and respond to the 205 by challenging it and sending their legal team in on the return date

OH THE IRONY.

I have not received my statement for several months now. I phone to query this.

"Oh no, we're MMSing your statement to 076xxxxxxx"...

Wtf. That hasn't been my phone number since 2008. So someone else has been happily receiving my statements... There was no communication from CoJ to me that they were changing the delivery mechanism, and no request to validate contact details. Confidentiality? Like they give a toss.

I hope for their sake that they know what they are after. A subpoena should be based on specific information. You can't make a general inquiry in the hope to strike it lucky.

WaaAAHaHaHaha....CoJ coming out of this looking like a basket of spastics.

And I don't think that silly little pencil dick House had anything to do with this, either.
