Can anyone please verify that the tower is up and running. By this I mean its not rebooting every < 60 minutes anymore. Im away from home but I need to know before I start getting angry and demanding refunds.. my pc is not updating DNS so I cant get to it and im not sure if just eventually gave up or if the tower is still down.

so its still fscking around then. I dont think my pc is staying connected long enough to land on a dns update retry. Definitely going to complain and demand a refund. I cant connect to any other tower since it wont do anything at 4% on menlo park. I cant pick up 22 either even when sunnyside is dead as a doorknob (and its 3km away)

So keep me posted on the uselessness of the tower.

Should be on top of Lukasrand, or what I know as the Post Office tower or am I totally wrong here ?

Its pretty hard to find. Its in the Telkom park up on the Groenkloof hill near the BJ Vorster tower.

Speaking of which, good luck with the upgrade. Its been offline for me since Thursday (my account is not working yet). I guess they are fixing what they stuffed up last week.

BJ Vorster tower ?? Opposite the Parks board ? How did that 1 survive a name change LOL . Sounds like I was more or less correct, used to have quite a few parties there, when Telkom was called SAPO and me working for them (pre '89)
