What is the real problems?

Not problems native ... supposedly these really are long-term planning upgrades.

My understanding is that we won't see a direct impact on our network performance.

Dont think thats such a bad thing. At least they are doing somthing. In theory: Regular maintenance should prevent break-downs and keep things running smoothly.

Yip, I was screaming bloody murder from 5:15 this morning...down from just before 1am till just after 6am...exactly when I ended up leaving home ...

But, to be fair, since the new Randpark ridge tower went live I've been capped ;-) ... the damn thing's been flying !
