Super simple bandwidth monitor?

I need to monitor how much I am using when I tether my iPhone.

I have tried a few of the popular ones (iStat; SurplusMeter) but neither one will simply give me accumulated bandwidth and a reset button... thats all I want... I don't want to monitor month to month; I dont need a running total for month ending... I don't want any rocket science, just a number and 'reset'.

I am aware that I may be doing it wrong when it comes to the aforementioned apps...

Thoughts?

I just use activity monitor. Remember to disable software updates in System Preferences -very annoying bandwidth waster.

I have used this but is there a way to reset it? Sorry if this is a totally 'tarded question...

Puhleeze...

Seriously: do that, then logon to Vodacom4me and check there, then send an SMS containing the string: 'mm' to 31050... I guarantee you that you'll get a different report from each one, I further guarantee you that the one closest to the truth is way out of date.

...giving users an accurate real time indication of their usage is just not profitable my friend.
