This the kinda guy to sell a panel beaten car to WeBuyCars as "pristine" with every single error code cleared and 4 years of missed service history.

It is @Rouxenator Im sure there was no ill intent.

Mista "Im blocking you cause Im afraid of convert 20 "

No harm, no foul. I'm already making a loss on this one. Despite me checking with Supermicro if the 20V power supply that came with the unit is OK - and them confirming it is - I ended up forking out R230 for a new 12V power supply. AFTER THE SALE. You win some, you lose some and you can't always keep everyone happy.

Hence why I never went to do sales.

My father assisted with a desktop that was on demo with a 1070 GPU, sold at a very good price marked down.

One ****nut "Im reporting you to BoB" as something he did not like about the add.
Father told him to **** off.

A week later the GPU sold and we never heard from the buyer. Apparently the buyer got a good working 1070 from us.

Seems like a solid case of user error is the prognosis here?

Waiting for Supermicro to respond, in the meantime I ordered this: https://www.amazon.ae/RiftRaven-Fir...=j4125&qid=1706533255&sprefix=,aps,251&sr=8-2

Google the controller on the board and read the number of issues people have with them dying. The fact that this dude didn't even mention knowing the ports didn't work explains why he sold it here and not on his BidOrBuy account. If this was disclosed, it would have been a different story. PCIe addon cards are cheap, but so is Paul apparently.

Can you not maybe go into the BIOS, disable all, enable 1 and install it, restart, enable 2 install, restart, enable 3 install.

Look no idea the problem, just trying to assist

When I said only 1 of the 5 NICs was working I meant that Windows did not pick up the drivers for those four Intel i354 NICs. After I force installed the correct drivers for it all was well.
I have sold plenty of non-working stuff on BidOrBuy and got good rating for it too as I always disclose everything I know about stuff I sell.

Anyways, I have had enough of this.

Thanks also for submitting my number on Hippo for insurance, my phone won't stop ringing. How very mature of you.

I did not ask you to refund me, you told me to contact Supermicro, which I did and said I am waiting for their response. I don't have a return address as I see you dropped the package off at courier kiosk, do you want it back?

What?

Just keep it.

As I said - I've had enough of this.

That's what I thought, user error on the part of the OP, clearly doesn't know how these things work. This is quite a specialised piece of gear, not for noobs if you want all the ports to work in Windows, just the way it is.

Yoh, now that is a proper cnt move
