Supersonic – from unknown to top-rated ISP in South Africa

I see they have a try before you buy offer on Vuma and some other providers. Seems legit, but I've been burned before, so not worth the risk.
 
When Cool Ideas won best ISP everyone was Congrats and Well Done ect ect. NOw Supersonic won best ISP on the EXACT same rating system now suddenly it's fake and lies..... :unsure::rolleyes:

When I enquired about changing from Supersonic to another ISP the new ISP actually asked me why because Supersonic is receiving such high reviews and they find it hard to convince Supersonic clients to change to them. I found that quite telling about Supersonic.

They are both a Fibre ISP and Fibre network. Their own Fibre network is Open access so you can choose Cool Ideas if you wanted too.
 
Rain is a mobile only "ISP" so what the hell are they doing on that list? Comparing a Cessna to Ferraris.

Supersonic had one of the highest number of reviews. Unless an ISP get enough reviews we do not include them in the rankings (there are many ISPs with an average of 5/5, but with very few votes which is not a good measure).

This is for the fixed broadband measurements, which is therefore for Rain fixed-LTE.

Rain is also included in the mobile network ratings, which will be released next week.
 
Hopefully they can make an impact on price and minimum speeds.

Fair enough. Still don't see how a 4 month old company can have more members and good reviews then we'll established ISP's
How many customers do they have?
Sound like Rain before the storm/crash.
Iam with MTN, never received a add or heard of supersonic untill this story

why is it that these guys can get a name so similar to another company

Does it really matter? They have enough reviews to draw a statistical conclusion. As was said nobody said anything when Cool Ideas won it as a small ISP but now because Supersonic is linked to MTN everyone is questioning the results.
