Supersport are doing a good job, but they need to review their programming.

Hello. Ive tried getting the Official comments place for Dstv, but the closest I got was this forum, so here goes. Though they have done a great job over the last decade, I think they need to alter their programming a weee bit. Case in point; they keep on repeating the Premier League "Magic Numbers" and "Cult Heroes" time and time again, yet there is so much they don't show, the NFL being one of them.

I think they are a great team-the football commentators genuinely rock- but they can do better.

Kudos.

Buying new shows = expensive

Re-running old shows = cheap

NFL, etc (ESPN's forte) have a very small following in SA (think of the mass viewership here, not only for SABC, but also DSTV) show they show the sports that will have the highest ratings and thus draw in maximum ad revenue.

In short: it's a business decision and probably a very good one at that.

That said, I agree with you wholeheartedly :/

I am still happy with the content. It's mainly the live stuff I end up watching anyway.

I think supersport do a fantastic job.

For nfl do the 2 espn channels not cover that? As mentioned nfl is expensive to buy for the 20 okes who enjoy it.

ESPN covers all of the american sports, not as many games as the US espn though.

I am happy with super sports coverage, they cover the football and cricket I want perfectly for extra serie a games I use rai i.
