What do I need to know to get this job?
• Matric + MCSE/MCITP (or similar qualification)
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with the following:
o Microsoft Windows 7 / 8.1
o Microsoft Office 2007 / 2010 / 2013
o Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 / 2012 R2
o Microsoft Hyper V (Virtualization)
o Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013
o The ability to configure desktop IT hardware and software
o Setup a Client / Server network with a domain controller
o Server setup – including different raid configuration
o Network experience
o Setup and configure Anti-Virus software
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to research problems and make recommendations as needed
• Ability to determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Must be able to work independently on routine assignments as well as conduct joint tasks within the team
What will you do every day?
Perform installations, maintenance and repair work on any computer related equipment that supports the business from laptops, desktops, communications equipment (digital & IP phones), tablets (ex. iPad’s), smart phones (ex. Blackberry’s, iPhone’s, Android’s), printers, local area networks, wide area networks, any piece of computer related peripheral or software an end user would be using while providing a high level of customer service to the user. Performing any other IT related duties during working hours and when necessary sometimes after hour on-call work.
