Are you disenfranchised? Can you send your kids to any school or university of your choice to study any field they fancy?

Nope. White kids with multiple distinctions aren’t allowed into medicine but black kids who failed biology are.

Been covered here before. I think the dragon Zille & the chair of SAMA also mentioned it recently and there was huge outrage. It's real and affects white & indian applicants.

Go google it if you don't believe me.

Here's a 2016 mybb article https://mybroadband.co.za/news/tech...-marks-to-study-medicine-in-south-africa.html

Just as fake as sahrc bias i suppose...
Article makes no mention of failed black students being admitted. I stead, I saw this about UKZN.
The top-performing students who apply from each race group are admitted, which results in the entry-level marks for students of different races being skewed.
UCT admits to using racial quotas, but do you think they'd admit someone who's failed a subject? I don't think so.

The rest of the article is self-explanatory, which leads me to the question...: Which valid point is raised in azbob's (obviously sarcastic) comment?

Of course Afrikaans is the only indigenous South African language. The Bantu languages are all imports from the Niger-Congo region and Known as Niger-Congo Group B. English is a British import and Afrikaans, which is only about 100 years old, developed indigenously in South Africa.

Good to see people respecting the culture of the place they’re in. Is that not what we want?

Yes, It would be nice to see Muslim women respecting the culture of the place they're in and acting like Western women when there. Is that not what we want?

Afrikaans is just a modified Indo-European language. If you insist it's indigenous to southern Africa, then all current "Bantu" languages have gone through a series of evolutions thus, are indigenous to the region. Btw, not all "Bantu" languages originate from the great lakes region.

There were no Bantu languages in SA until the climate dried allowing migration southward with cattle through what was an impenetrable Tsetse fly belt.

Afrikaans is recognised as a language on its own and originated in SA. If it's a modified Indo-European language, then so are English and German.

A friend just came back from Sweden and some of the first hand reports are pretty scary. His daughter is an EMT. There are some areas (housing projects) the ambulances will not enter unless escorted by police armed with automatic weapons. And others that even the police will not enter at all.

Many of the 16yo+ "immigrants" are totally unruly.

Sounds a lot like SA :cautious:

It's like mixing mud with water and expecting the end result to be perfectly good water. The only problem in this equation is the expectation.
These lessons, it seems, get learned and forgotten over and over again.
