Honestly, didn't know Ubisoft was in such trouble. They're gigantic, like 20k+ employees, must be a fortune keeping that place going.

Hope they pull through some way, I want to play another new big ticket Splinter Cell some time.

Ther problem is not when something is represented its when it becomes the sole identity for existence where quality normally suffers that where it becomes a problem.

Make a good game and I will play it regardless of representation.

This is kak stupid.

I do not mind "DEI" at all, being South African, we're kind of un-artificially "inclusive" as a state of being since day 1, it's just that games made using woke checkboxes and staffing talent based on quota and social media performative clowning instead of pure merit just produces genuine objective garbage that wipes out fortunes in investment overnight consistently.

There's also a load of top heavy people who seem obsessed (like they need to get professional help) with making literally everything about their personal sexuality, product be damned, which is insane.

The culmination of all this incredibly bad corporate decision-making will show in GTA 6, though, their publisher CEO already started lowkey warning everyone the game is going to be "weird".
