Sydenham Fibre - What went wrong?

Its seems that all the suburbs surrounding Sydenham in JHB, either already have fibre or are in the process of getting fibre with infrastructure builds already finished or almost finished in areas like Sandringham, Some parts of Glenhazel, Highlands North, Lyndhurst, Gresswold, Bramley, Norwood, Gardens, Orchards, Waverly, Sydenham from Durham Street up to Walmer Street only.

However as for the larger Sydenham JHB area, their is nothing currently? It almost seems like for some reason Sydenham has been left out?

Any of the Infrastructure providers following this forum care to answer? Telkom? Fibrehoods? Vuma?

One of my friends who lives in the area queried this a few weeks ago on Facebook with Fibrehoods.
I believe that some residents complained about the way in which it's being deployed (aerial)...

Seems like it's some grumpy sod who's ruining it for everyone but would suggest that you get hold of Fibrehoods.
I may be able to get a contact for you if necessary.

I suspect its more than that, possible some type of politics between Telkom and Fibrehoods or perhaps Fiberhoods at issues with leways etc.. Hoping one of the providers following these forums will comment.

saw that article weeks ago, makes no sense at all. Non of the other suburbs even have a RA and yet they are all getting fibre as we speak. I strongly suspect either a way-leave issue or politics with Telkom or even another operator?

Perhaps Vuma will respond on this thread?

Even Senderwood is currently undergoing a build. (all under ground)
