An unlawful waste dumping syndicate has plagued this country and European countries, including Spain, illegally dumping containers of plastic waste here.

The department of environmental affairs’ Environmental Management Inspectorate (EMI), also known as the Green Scorpions, was challenged with importers not following legal procedures to declare the dumping. Most of the illegal waste was plastic scrap and oil contaminated soil.

I would be more concerned with the likes of certain paper companies dumping chemicals into the ocean

How do we benefit from foreign dumping? Why allow foreign dumping at all?

We've got enough rubbish of our own.

this,

also Africa is the worlds Dumping ground for anything and everything be it cars, cellphones, and in this case Soil.
the East Produces (China,Japan,Korea), the West (America, Canada Mexico) consumes, and the Middle bit (Africa) is the Dumping Ground.

And even more worrying , unbeknown to us, I would hazard nuclear waste as well.

The west's self righteous morals only extend so far
