Would love to review one.

Had the HP microserver a few years ago. Running BubbleUPnP and Servio from a old laptop. This will be a better use for a media server.

Would be interesting to load HA on it as old laptop doesn't seem able to handle the VM.

Also useful to run older non-wifi printer on it.

And finally I could run my 9, soon to be 10, reolink cameras on this.

Edit also great backup for my photos and home videos. Online space running out.

I would like to review it, specially with Synology Photo's in mind.

I am not going to pay more for Google storage and this is the perfect solution as I ran out of video and photo storage.

Great opportunity...

I would love to review a Synology NAS device, as I am new to NAS devices.

I have 2 x 4TB HDDs which I wanted to install in a NAS device as well as a 4TB HDD that could be used for a single bay version.

I have been looking at the single bay version as it is a cheaper option, but either would be great.

If you are looking for someone to get their hands on a Synology device and give a honest review in terms of unboxing, setting up and using a Synology device in both a home and business environment,, then I would love the opportunity to do so...

I am keen.

Photography is a hobby of mine. I currently use a couple of external hdd for storage. Would be nice to see how a NAS device would benefit my setup.

MyBroadband and Synology have partnered to provide a great opportunity for someone with an interest in photography and who is keen to review a NAS device.

We need reviewers for the Synology DS220+ NAS device.

We will send you the Synology unit (no HDDs included) and all you need to do is:

- Install your own HDD in the device.
- Test it out.
- Write a short review about your experience with both the NAS device and Synology Photos and send it to us.
- Take a few photos of your setup and screenshots of your experience with Synology Photos

The value to you: You get to keep the Synology NAS device.

If you are keen to review a device, let us know in this thread.

Entries will close on 9 May 2022. Reviewers will be announced on 10 May 2022.

About Synology

Synology is the number one choice in mid-range NAS product category. Striving to redefine what a NAS can achieve, Synology combines the features of public and private clouds to develop a hybrid cloud solution with a web-based platform, transforming NAS into a multi-functional device suitable for various purposes.
I am keen to review the Synology DS220+ device. I currently have a QNAP 2-bay NAS device and also have two spare SATA drives available to install for the test and review. I work in the IT field and have a number of years experience with my current NAS device and am therefore in a position to provide a review that can then assist future NAS owners.

Good day - I currently have a Western Digital HomeCloud - which is currently running full. nearly 4TB used up. I would need to purchase another LAN/NAS Device in order to upgrade :( THEREFOR - I am very keen for this device. I am also an IT Specialist, whom have done similar reviews many years back, in the past - but more in the form of POC's for the companies I contracted at and worked for.
I would be really interested to test and try the Synology Photo's feature and functionality of the Synology NAS.

I also already have a relatively good home-LAN and wifi setup, as I am able to currently access everything on my current WD HOMECLOUD NAS, even with my mobile phone, over my wifi/WiLAN :)

Please consider my application for reviewer of the Synology NAS.

I would be keen :)

Have been part of the Synology family since 2012 and am very familiar with their OS. So it would be great to compare the new version to the old version I have and document this.

Sign me up! I have been using NAS devices for the last 10 years in my home network and would like to see what Synology has to offer.

Would love to review this unit! I have used Xpenology on a HP N40L in the past (thus, I have a good frame of reference for the OS). I have since migrated the OS to openmediavault and am still using the machine as a NAS for my home network. I currently use the HP N40L for PC backups, media serving to devices at home and running various self-hosted applications via docker.
