A UK call centre based company seeks to appoint a Tier 2 Systems Engineer (Wintel server and virtualisation support). You will need to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis and remediation of problem records; implement infrastructure changes and assist with the implementation of projects.

You will need to be qualified in : MCSE / MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2003/2008/2012. You will need to have the following knowledge and skill: A minimum of 2 years support experience in a Microsoft server environment; minimum 2 years Windows 2003 administration; minimum 1 year Windows 2008; DHCP; Active Directory; Server hardware management (HP/Dell/IBM); ITSM toolsets for tracking all work progress (Remedy); Server Management experience in at least one Anti-Virus technology eg. McAfee ePO.

You will need to be a strong communicator with a 'can-do' attitude, be dynamic and have a high energy drive - together with being self motivated and punctual and be able to work in a team.

Free advice:
-lists are nicer in this form rather than just separating by a semi-colon
-what's the salary braket?

Doesn't sound like a systems engineer to me. Sounds like second line technical support.

Call a spade a spade please.

Do you require a PR.Eng and registration with ECSA?
