See how much Takealot is lying. you can probably give them say 50 of the items on special and they can tell you how much they got increased prior Black Friday and if there were actually any real specials.

I was considering waiting for Black Friday to buy another 16GB stick of ram, but the thought of being lied to about discounted prices, shitty website load times and then waiting 2 months was enough to deter me.

Plus I got a coupon code for R250 off which should account for any sort of bullshit pricing Takealot decides to give me on the day and I get it immediately.

And yes, the original price was lower/same as everywhere else.

Not BF related, but I got laptop ram from a guy on carb. Paid R600 for 16gb incl shipping. Sold my 8GB stick for R400 incl shipping. Essentially cost me R200 to upgrade my laptop from 8gb to 16gb.
