Yea I checked the prices beforehand and it could be that - but they start at R20,000 ... so it could be anything in between.
They said "most valuable item sold"... So I'm guessing it would be the highest-priced Samsung 75".

They can only operate within the framework of the laws that govern them.

Due to POPIA and PCI-DSS they can't just go snooping into who's spending what on whichever account without a court order. They can however provide insight into the value and volume being spent, as well as the basket in the case of a retailer...

POPIA has absolutely nothing to do with them snooping through clients' accounts. Nowhere in POPIA are they prevented or stating that they require a subpoena to access clients' accounts or information. POPIA only deals with how they collect, process and protect clients' data. They are not prohibited from accessing it.

Yeah. great tech but samsung has ruined it with their tricks and lack of dolby vision.
