Kindly explain how it is that you claim to have a Takealot voucher worth R21 450, when the largest denomination voucher available to ordinary Takealot users, is a R1000 voucher.

What protection do you personally offer potential buyers that the voucher has not already been redeemed before someone makes a payment?

As per my ad, I explain that I’m happy to meet with the buyer and we can call both my insurance who issued the voucher along with Takealot who can confirm the validity of the voucher.

My iPhone 11 Pro 256GB was damaged and after I took it to their assessors, insurance (Pineapple Insurance) wrote it off. Since it’s discontinued, they then offered me a similar replacement being the iPhone 12 Pro 256GB but in monetary value (either an iStore or Takealot Voucher). I already purchased a new phone so have no use for the voucher now and want to recoup some of my funds. I then opted for an iStore Voucher but there haven’t been any takers (you can check my other sale thread - I did also ask for it to be deleted) and went back to the insurers to rather ask to swap out for a Takealot voucher.

I have nothing to hide and this is a legitimate voucher.

I’ll post my policy documents and communications with Pineapple Insurance (brokers) of which Old Mutual are the underwriters and were the ones that issued the voucher.

you might have better luck purchasing smaller vouchers with your existing voucher and sell it off as such. glws
Thanks for the suggestion, didn't even cross my mind! Guess people can DM me if they are interested in smaller vouchers.

Yep can vouch insurers give you a credit at Takealot.

Discovery insurance gave me a credit note at Takealot for stolen PC when I insisted on having a hot swap dock as per original desktop case.

Rather look for some actual specials on Takealot and use the voucher to buy a few of these items.

Wait until special is over then sell these items on FB marketplace for either what you paid for it or even for a small profit :)

Uh you do know if you call takealot they can refund your money right? It does not have to be a voucher.
