Said it in the other thread, this is one of the worst subscriptions as most of the purchases are still locked behind R500 minimum , even Uber Eats is better in that regards.

So the MrD portion of this is interesting if you're a regular Mr D user... beyond that, I'm not entirely sure I see a great value proposition.

This just screams knee jerk reaction to Amazon launching, which is not a great look for Takealot.

I am unsure if Mr D's delivery service is fair when compared to Sixty60. While Sixty60 delivers to any neighborhood within a certain radius, Mr D seems to discriminate against certain neighborhoods without any valid evidence. Mr D's delivery service is limited to specific neighborhoods only, which is unusual because Pick n Pay does not discriminate against neighborhoods and their delivery partner, Pic Up, delivers safely in neighborhoods that Mr D refuses to accommodate. Interestingly, the same driver delivers for both Pic Up and Mr D, which makes it possible for real-world reviews to show that Mr D's policy is Bais

Take them to the SAHRC for discrimination then.

They've done sweet fkall the last few years, even voucher codes are a relic of the past & now they spring into action. A little too late.

Pretty much my feeling as well, many vouchers and stuff to entice new users, but existing users have got almost diddlysquat. And only when they get some credible competition do they jump, because you can be damned sure they didn't dream up this plan last night, its been on someones desk for months but they didn't think to launch it then, they'd just sit on it.
