Takealot's new annual sale

Takealot has announced its own version of popular annual sales like Black Friday and Amazon’s Prime Day.

Called The Ultimate Checkout Sale, the event will offer a variety of big discounts on products across the Takealot and Superbalist platforms.

Oh, what the hell, let's police them
Top-rated tech products on Takealot include the Xiaomi Mi TV Box and the Fitbit Flex 2, while popular tech products in terms of search volume and wish-list presence include the DSTV Explora and Seagate 1TB portable hard drive respectively.
So they say these are the types of things that will be on sale. Then let's see what they cost today and what they will cost when they go on sale:

Rather incorporate it into black Friday and have some proper deals. I'm tired of all these promotional sales that sell things for the same prices they've been selling for during the year.

Wasn't this their Blue Dot Sale?

Also, I don't think anyone trusts Takealot sales anymore. If they started putting the % off from their normal retail price instead of some made up RRP, I might take their "discounts" more seriously.
No I think Blue Dot was their version of black Friday.
