Thanks guys, I will post some more sample pics once I have built up a decent collection. I have finally gotten used to the manual focus and my hit rate is about 75% wrt focus. I also have a Tamron 70-220 f4 (also ~40yrs old) that I will write a review for in the next week or so.

Awesome lens ... personally I have the f3.5 version but I'm still struggling a bit to nail the focusing. Every now and then I get lucky and the results are simply magical!
