Hi, I need a tap to pay app that isn't Google (unlocked bootloader ) or Samsung pay (don't have Samsung phone).
Anything official from visa or MasterCard?

Nothing, you unlocked your bootloader, all Tap to Pay apps will stop working on what would be considered a potentially insecure device.

I think Standard Bank has a built in Tap feature. Don't know if it will work with an unlocked bootlader

An unlocked bootloader means the device is no longer secure. Nobody is going to make an app that works on insecure device and risk themselves being held liable for any losses.

My device isn't rooted....anyways I backed up my phone and will reload it/lock the boot loader tomorrow.

No banking/payment app will work with an unlocked bootloader.

So I locked the boot loader, reset my phone, and everything was working fine until this weekend.
Been getting a "your device might be rooted or unlocked".

I have a Xiaomi phone and loaded another ROM. That's why I needed to do that.

It's 2024, why do you need to load another ROM, you may ask?

Because I got a great phone but it had Chinese firmware.

Luckily, Gpay works with this ROM, so no problem.
