Taste Holdings closing Domino’s Pizza stores in South Africa

Yeah, i was always surprised by the type of pizzas the average south african likes. i am a traditional thin based neapolitan / NY style pizza guy. Margherita being the best pizza in my books. so when i think of my favourite in SA its gotta be the coalition and pizza e vino, etc

however if i had to choose a fast food place, dominos wins, their cheesy magherita was good, the base is tasty when served hot, was a good pizza. but like guys have said they never had good enough deals to keep up

but it seems the average south african just wants that weird plasticy cheese and then shove a wors in the crust and dunk it in BBQ sauce. debonairs has got to be the worst pizza ever made

Their pizzas were too dry for local tastes.

Here I am thinking they were too soggy. Only tried them once so it may have been a bad day for the kitchen

I would take Dominos over Debonairs any day, overpriced junk.
