Tax-free savings: ETF choices

I know this is the EFT TFSA thread ... but what is the best rate for a TFSA fixed deposit.

Currently I am seeing African Bank at 8.67%

Any other options maybe ?

Why would you put your TFSA in cash? Worst option IMO, might as well put it in your bond or something

I want something fixed (that is all). With the rate how the JSE performs (had shares now, got a few tshirts in experience, time to move it)

Buy a world-based index fund and you won't be exposed to SA-performance, simple. It trades on the JSE, but essentially you're buying shares of a whole bunch of internationally based companies.

Where is everyone else dumping their R36k....

Mostly in the NASDAQ one, I like tech stocks.
And the other two for more balance. The NASDAQ shares are in them as well, but lower weightings.
