Taxi violence on Allandale

Please avoid using the N1 between Midrand and Pretoria as Taxi
Drivers have blocked off Alan Dale road, there have been reports of people
being attacked.

The following areas are also affected:

M1 crown interchange... taxi drivers are burning tyres

Hendrick Potgieter... Cars are being stoned

R55 & R21 road blockages.

Isolated incidents on the krugersdorp highway.

Soweto motorway, mooi street offramp city deep and areas in the Pretoria CBD
have all been closed off.

Despite high police presence certain areas are volatile and remain high
risk.Please use an alternative route.

Some clever dude in their HR department decided he didn't want to sit in traffic on the N1 home, and wanted to "clear" the road for himself
