You chaps are blowing things out of proportion here, he wanted to use his own car but his boss told him otherwise.

Provincial Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu says he's paying that amount for a luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

.....well if he says he is paying that amount, then I think a salary deduction is in order.
