Any way to have the set resume the power-on state after power is restored?

Since it's a Android TV set, try the following.

Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Power -> Power-Mode -> Set it to Remember or On.

I don't get this from the local Stuff review

Disney+ offers a few of its MCU movies in the IMAX format. It’s a small thing, but it enhances the experience of watching Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness from the comfort of your couch

Has anyone on any platform got an IMAX enhanced version to watch?
My understanding is that Hotstar doesn't support at all?
The screenshot below from the real Disney+, has options?

Ag sod off. If these are the kinds of responses you're here to give, rather just don't post anything.

What a joke

I must admit, I've gone from being keen to buy a TCL set and be a bit of an "early adopter", to being very bloody wary of this entity.

Their price point will need to be very good for me to get over the wariness.

So for the vast majority of people, Android is owned by Google because they deem Android to be that thing that has all the Google Services.
Should tell it to the zillions of people in China that uses Android without any Google services.

I am in no way shape or form saying you are technically wrong.. but in terms of peoples perception, Android = Google ...

AOSP = that Android like thing that isn't as useful since it doesn't come natively with Google stuff.

Exactly my sentiments. They came here and promised the world, and have just been a major letdown. They STILL haven't launched their 2022 products which they've been promising since January! They have an absolute goldmine here, of potential customers and word of mouth agents, but all they've managed to do is show that they're full of empty promises and forum bots.
