@bwana you mentioned you are 2m from the screen.. How is the viewing angles? I don't mean 120 degrees but more like 45 degrees.. Will be a family TV and we can't all sit "right in front"..

I want a R20K LG C1 but I am also being realistic.. Nowadays one does not spend more than 3 hours a day in front of the TV..

I think this is a great tv if you don’t care about HDR, but if you do care about it you won’t be happy. Just look at your own personal requirements and make a choice .

Why? What's wrong with HDR?

A TV with only 300 nits will not display hdr.
HDR is nice and all but doesn’t take my breath away. Well, at least from the in-store demos I’ve seen. My PC monitor has hdr but as you say it isn’t real hdr because it’s only 400 nits.

That is why i said it depends on everyone's personal requirements. I enjoy HDR content and some dont care for it.

That's unfortunate.
The C835 seems to be a capable TV, will it be coming out in 75in?
I would really hope it will come at a discounted price since it's a 2021 model and we are almost close to 2023 ... Can already hear last Christmas I can give you my ..........

25k is a bit too much for the 65", the Toshiba 65" that has hdmi 2.1 and 120hz panels was 19k.
Well, unless I'm mistaken, this is the cheapest 65inch mini-LED in the country? The Hisense U8H is R29k

That Toshiba Z770 seems to be fantastic value for money (although it is not mini LED)
