I would MUCH prefer it if Mdme Zille invited Mmusi Maimane to tea
It would however be quite tragic watching him crying into his tea cup
( Storm in a teacup -- and ALL that )

Who's decision-maker between him and Athol Trollip?

Why even entertain this criminal little pr1ck.
You’ve got to (no matter how repugnant). Zille (I believe) is sincere about her concern for the future and Malema, as the representative of the radical element, must be consulted. Malema just wants quotable sound bites for his followers and has no clue of a future beyond tomorrow. As another poster pointed out, Zille will run rings around him on a one-to-one. There’s no upside for him.

Why can’t people of opposed viewpoints debate? Malema accepted an invitation from the Cape Chamber of Commerce to debate or discuss things with Clem Sunter in the past. I don’t think he’ll do it again. His speech looks very stilted in the presence of advanced or sophisticated concepts.
Judging by some of what I have seen of this podcast you would be a fool to accept.
Helen uses the "tea" to ambush and attack her guest. Taking every opportunity to air every grievance she has had with anyone at any time.

he held his own against Clem Sunter and a crowd full of capitalists in a debate a few years ago
Could it be because capitalism is such a crap system? It would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Capitalists would be so busy defending the ‘free market’ that even a staggering twat like Malema could maintain.

I only listened to part of the Adam Habib one and they both enjoyed the sound of their own voices while not really engaging.

Pretty much.

This podcast needs a moderator. I must admit, there was huge potential here that was missed.
