Tech specials this weekend (13 - 15 September 2013): hard drives, gaming devices

Would rather go for the Kingston ones.

Apparently the Kingston DataTraveler G3 is just as crappy as the Verbatim Pinstripe. It doesn't come close to previous generation Kingston flash drives. If you need a decent performance flash at a reasonable price Transcend is the way to go.

Having said that, the biggest downside to the Kingston DataTraveler G3 and the Verbatim Pinstripe is just that they're so damn slow. I would trust Makro more than Esquire for warranty replacement as well.

^^ agree that the Verbatim is slow. They selling it cheap for that reason probably. Got 2x here.

Luckily i have patience so copy 20GB file and return after doing something :). Others may not be so though :p.

If warranty is needed for Esquire, rather make a moan (politely) to Esquire on this forum then it will go through proper process. He REALLY tries hard to listen , just look at their recent site redesign :whistling:
