Technically, not another new car thread..?

I say technically, because I already know what I want and why I want it:

A 2016 or newer Mitsibushi ASX with less than 100K for 250k or less..

Why..? Well I currently own one, a 2013 model nearing 200K.. It has all of the things (yes, luxuries for the most part) that I want in a car:

- Heated seats
- Electric mirrors and windows
- AC (pretty standard thing for most cars these days)
- Cruise control and steering wheel controls for factory radio for controlling music and hands free system
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Park distance control
- Good safety features
- Enough space (not yet able to afford a double cab, which is my ultimate goal)
- OBC with real time fuel usage etc (also relatively standard for most cars these days)
- Not leather but, not cloth seats either, really good quality hard wearing leather like material
- Park distance control

All and all, the ASX looks like the best value for money in terms of the above features, when compared to other similar vehicles from other brands.. I can get a 2016 ASX, one spec up from current one, which then adds to the above, reverse cam, day time running lights and touch screen infotainment system for my 250k budget, with only 67k on the clock..

Leading to my question: Are there any cars that I am missing, from other brands, that has my above wishlist at the age, mileage and price I am looking for..? I cannot seem to find anything but, I want to make sure I am not missing out on anything before I commit to the same car again..

CX-3 & HR-V or are they too small?

Good spec, reliable N/A engines.

Not very much of either of those available in the western cape..

CX-3 might be too small and not sold on the looks of the HR-V but, would have to go view both in person to be sure..

I believe you are not missing anything, There are many SUVs out there but most are just expensive for the mere fact that they are SUVs, with nothing to offer.

The standard spec of the ASX is just in a class of it's own, SUVs in the same class are over R50k more expensive with way less features.

Surely more of both available than the ASX?

The heated seats rule quite a few good cars out, if you willing to go without them you have more options.
Me personally for your budget, I'd get a Vitara or a Duster, both will be newer as well.

The duster I have already ruled out.. doesn't cover half the features on my list.. as for heated seats, could probably do without that..

I'm talking the facelifted 2018 or newer Duster.
Last I checked they were fully loaded with spec.

My SO has the 2020 ES and it sure is a pleasing vehicle.

Great choice IMO

Park Distance Control must be very important to you since you mentioned it twice.

4 airbags on the highest spec Duster, The ASX has 7. The Duster is not a bad car but it is just in a different class, refinement, build quality and everything, It just doesn't cut it in comparison.
