So simple you actually can't give me an answer?
No. There is no answer you will accept. When in the bath or shower, take the keys with you. When in the pool, hide the keys in the very top corner of the closet where nobody has fiddled ever. There are 101 places you can hide keys where imbecile man-children will never find them.

And to come back to this case, the father should've had them in his pocket as he was taking a nap. Simple. He is absolutely to blame for this and I hope he loses his gun and licence.

Sorry, I still think your proposal is ludicrous.

That is exactly why you and this idiot father should not be in possession of a firearm.

Oh, some further judgement from you. Fortunately I treat it with the same amount of respect as your previous suggestion.

What is clear from your post is you don't have children. The cops could hire them for searches ...

Couple of things wrong here , the most glaring is the language of the report , "the gun went off" ,guns do not just go off unless they are incredibly mechanically unsafe or modified , even then almost no chance since most times it involves trigger use or drops not simply pointing.(this language stinks of an agenda being pushed)
@ambroseg1 you need to start taking what most people in the gun shops and training places/forums with a grain of salt , most are severely uninformed of the law , as always the reasonable man test comes into play , better hope the mag presiding is a reasonable man........
