Well if what you're saying is true then you had between a 2.7 and 3.5Mbit connection. That would probably mean a 4Mbit connection, since you have to take account of protocol overhead.

When I was in Europe I used to have a 4Mbit connection, and the highest speed I ever squeezed out of it was 360KB/s.

Nice! Well I had a cable connection in the states. I had no idea that I had a 4Mbit line, I generally did however get like 320K not often did it go higer than that

I have heard via the grapevine that it will be launched in August (maybe with the new pricing structures). Unfortunately I can not confirm this and have no idea what the cost will be...

actually theoretically working on 90% so that would be about 115k/s but since its iburst I bet your getting closer to 115kilobits/sec

oh your so touchy, and yes I have 4x 512k adsl lines.. I cruise at roughly 210k/s when I want, all at my finger tips. Thanks for your loving concern HAHA

you do not have a 54mbit line because you cant get a residential 54mbit connection in the UK, the most you have is 8mbit

people in .sa should get it, dial-up can get to 384kb.s well into bb speed for 300rand a year!
thats a mega saving!

well if the most you can have is 8mbit, no matter what else you use its still an 8mbit line, and if it only speeds up broadband by 3 times, 3 times 8 is 24

July, still no news on this or on the local bandwidth capping issues.
