Hi

Since most know telkom does not cap u right after u hit 3gig, but allows u more out a "pool".

I wanna know is anyone interisted in sharing a 3gig acc with me just for downloads 24/7. Its R125 / person and we can atleast get minimum 10gig each if we download like hell the 1st week, even better if both have the 4mb line. We can eat up what the 384's and 512's cant eat :)

Let me know if anyone is in.

PS: The 3gig acc have 2 concurrent sessions so both can be online at the same time.

TelkomInternet stopped concurrent connections, you can call their customer care, most of them now say it isnt allowed anymore. I wont recommend sharing a TelkomInternet account either. Its just too great a risk.

Don't need to, did 36GB this month on an IS account for R70 more. Think about it, don't need international for downloads if you know where to source the same content locally ;)

So the Local 30GIG from openweb, will be suitable if I want to download locally, but where? Is the NEWS SERVERS the only option??

that site is not correct, telkom pages are always outdated.

Since when are they always outdated? Don't post such rubbish if you don't have proof.

The number of concurrent sessions stated on their website works, for a fact. I use one account on two seperate lines. This is with a 3GB Advanced account.

My concurrent sessions stopped briefly - they didnt give me any problems when restoring it. Besides TelkomSA.net's site says concurrent connections is still part of the package.

On the downside if enough people start doing what Flame has planned I can see them disappearing - although a single account would last little longer than a day with 2 ppl going at 4Mb/s.

read all the Telkom pages, they dont post accurate information. I am not Telkom Customer Care so dont care about their concurrent connections. I just know it was taken away, you can call them to get it back if you want. If you dont have a problem with it, you one of the customers thats not affected.. telkom is random, you know it. If something works for you, it might not work for your neighbour

It still says local is uncapped and many other errors like 384K costs watever it use to cost. Every Telkom page says something else.
