Mabye this should be under consumerism and deregulation but anyway ...

Just got my September issue of PM today and there was a (very irritating) sleve over the magazine with a lovely picture of some distand galexy with the words expoloreevolve in the bottom left corner and a quote in the other saying "If we have learnt one thing from the history of invention and discovery, it is that the most daring prophecies seem laughably conservative" (Author C Clarke)

Seems a bit ironic - considering it is advertising telkom 'broadband' products - which over seas are very daring (well used to be) but are now cheaper for better ..... that thing is going in the bin (unless anyone wants a scan of it)

I think Telkom's broadband is incredibly daring - offering a substandard service as ridiculous prices has to be about as brave as you can get

Telkom is so full of crap! Using somebody as legendary as Arthur C Clarke's name in their ads give me chills!

Arthur is turning over in his grave!
