Telkom is also my ISP. I work from home in Strand, and my income depends on this. The last few days is a nightmare which is becoming worse every day. The connection is unstable, sometimes, sometimes works for a while then stop, sometimes even when the internet light is green it only connects to the TELKOM site. The phone is extremely noisy. I called 10210 a few times, reported online, but nobody comes here to fix anything. They just don't care. There are no cost effective alternatives here. Last time I called 10120, the man told me there was many line problems in "my area" and he thinks it would take ages to fix. Nobody from Telkom suggested to me that they can't deliver and ADSL service here, and they keep charging. I beg of you TELKOM: please just inform me about the true facts, so I know what to do. I will have to work using mobile data tomorrow at enormous cost.
