Telkom ADSL-mobile data wallet – the details

Telkom are finally starting to do great things IMO.

I assume they'll be using these customers as a real world trial.

Telkom can analyse their usage behaviour and find a realistic ADSL data:Mobile data rate that will ensure long term sustainability.

Hoping this is a success. There's some real potential here.

Received my D-Link DWR-730 and SIM about an hour ago, I'll play with it tomorrow assuming it's been activated by then.

TI capped users really score with this promo as their entire cap is available to use. On 10MB uncapped I only get 5GB anytime & 5GB nightsurfer :(

... still, mustn't look a gift horse in the mouth :)

What promo? ROFL. I'm a TI capped user and I've scored nothing from this thus far. Please elaborate? where did you get the SIM from? I've been trying for 3 weeks and NOBODY at Telkom even has the slightest clue what this "data wallet" even is! What a laugh.
 
I also received my Telkom sim and D-Link DWR-730 late yesterday. Still waiting for activation code.

I looked up the specs of the D-Link device and it is HSDPA+ and not LTE - very disappointing.

LOL, you honestly think there's going to be a general rollout any time soon? I'll be adding this to my list of things that are perpetually "imminent". Maybe in 20 years time.
 
Is "high fault zones" the political correct way of saying areas where the ****ers keep on stealing our cables? :D
