Will there be an Apple TV app? I'm guessing not.

This news has given me a great new idea for a TV show.

2 dinosaurs who survived the asteroid strike and subsequent wasteland by draining the life force of the living creatures around them now find themselves struggling in a world that has moved on and been rebuilt by humans. One of them is an expert in cutting edge dinosaur technology, and the other is a former media star of the dinosaur screen.

With their skill sets no longer being relevant, and not having any place in a modern human society, they team up to combine their skills and take on the modern world in order to survive. Their hijinks often foiled by their own ineptitude.

Guest stars can include the other 2 remaining dinosaurs. The Pterodactyl who never moved with the times and refused to grow feathers and now has to make up for their short coming by gluing other peoples money to his wings to compete with the feathered birds, and the evil lumbering, overweight t-rex who runs a clean up service disposing of the old dinosaur corpses left over from the meteor impact by burning them.

Telkom and SABC launch new TelkomONE streaming service

Telkom has partnered with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) to launch a new online streaming service named TelkomONE.

The five-year partnership is a first-of-its-kind digital carriage agreement for the SABC and will include TV programmes radio platforms on a single online platform.

As a sign of protest, I sold my Telkom shares and implore others not to use this service, do not support the criminal SABC organization.

Use Netflix instead, besides, it's better.
This year I have cancelled four additional Telkom services  Starting 1/12 I am officially free of that POS.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when someone decided it would be a good idea for 2 of South Africa's most hated corporate entities to get together and come up with this rubbish.

So, uhm, do you need a valid TV license to watch? Is Telkom going to collect TV License fees on behalf of their new buddy, the SABC?

No?

Didn't think so...

Google "TelkomONE" and the first link is for some competition. The rest of them are articles. That is stupid. How are people supposed to sign up?

I have cancelled my ADSL, my parents and brothers (x2 lines) ADSL (landlines) lines this year from Telkom. No money to them. My brother uses VOX VOIP phone. R170 (?) and you can phone any cell unlimited calls. Noice.

Does the "Cost" include an SABC TV License?

Not sure how MyBB can't provide links with their articles. They do it ALL THE TIME! @Jamie McKane please provide links in future articles next time. That said the second link on DDG provided the goods http://www.telkomone.tv/
When you sign up do Telkom ask for your SABC TV License number?

It's lucky that your protest also lets you profit form the 72% share price increase in the last 6 months ;)
