I think it would be automatic for most users. If not, contact your ISP and ask them to investigate the matter for you.

Nothing but 4 Mbps available at my exchange as well. Asking Telkom for info about future plans for the exchange get you nowhere. :-/

There was something on MyBB news a while back. Telkom is discontinuing 4mb lines and upgrading everyone to 10's. I suspect it will take a while, as does everything they do.

no they dont, smallest you can order now is 10, also all 4meg customers got upgraded to 10

The connection were upgraded in my area. But the TIN has not. So I have visit a shop to get this sorted out.

I am on the Telkom/Vumatel 4Meg package. I noticed a while ago that the 4M was not listed on Vuma Site, Telkom only starting at 10M. I see that my line is also now running 10M. Does that mean my account is going to be charged for 10M or is it a free upgrade???

What p1$$es me off, is trying to find a route to upgrade from 4 to 10. The okes on their twitter account used to be quite useful, but all they seem to be doing now is handling mobile issues.

4Mb/s is no longer an option on fibre.

my 4mg line just got upped to a 10mg line this morning, woke up to torrents 1mb p/s download speed, so I'm guessing that is because of an upgrade.

I signed a contract so they have no right to charge me more, have had no contact from telkom telling me they are going to charge me more though.
