Telkom has announced substantial price hikes across its product portfolio, including its prepaid and postpaid cellular, fibre, DSL, and traditional telephone services.

“Given the current inflation rate of 5.8%, tariff adjustments are necessary to ensure sustainable service excellence,” the company stated.

They for some reason keep on increasing my speed and keep my bill the same.
I'm paying the same price now for 300mbs as I paid in 2017 for 20mbs

So Dstv has put up my price by 8.3% after two years. That's less than the last year's (unofficial) inflation. Fibre has had multiple above inflation increases in just the last year driving inflation higher. What's wrong with this picture?
