Telkom announces enormous price hikes on fibre, mobile

Telkom has announced substantial price hikes across its product portfolio, including its prepaid and postpaid cellular, fibre, DSL, and traditional telephone services.

“Given the current inflation rate of 5.8%, tariff adjustments are necessary to ensure sustainable service excellence,” the company stated.

So disappointed, "enormous", really, this is definitely a "Massive" title article per MyBB article naming convention.

If inflation is 5,8% then WHY are tariffs hiked by more than DOUBLE
 
So Dstv has put up my price by 8.3% after two years. That's less than the last year's (unofficial) inflation. Fibre has had multiple above inflation increases in just the last year driving inflation higher. What's wrong with this picture?
 
I'm on a fibre promo price. Any idea where I can find the increase amount for my package?
